Torrent Capital took its current form as an investment issuer in early 2017. At that time, Wade Dawe was appointed CEO and the management and investment teams were established shortly thereafter.
A Promising Start
Starting with less than $6M in Net Assets, Torrent invested in a diversified portfolio of small and micro cap companies. Without raising additional capital, Torrent’s Net Asset Value (NAV) grew from under $6M on June 30, 2017 to approximately $25M as of March 31, 2022, representing a cumulative return of 302%.
Applying a flexible investment strategy, we target companies with the potential for 5-10X returns, but we may also capitalize on short term price movements.
